The Epiphone ET-270/1802T is a fantastic instrument, they were made in the Matsumoku factory, and were the first solid bodies produced for Epiphone in Japan.

This guitar has two copper plated high output single-coils, with a very vintage voice.
The bass boost switch turns this guitar from a twangy surf machine, to a grungy, dark toned monster that works superbly distorted, and still keeps a surprising clarity!
The body is solid piece of unspecified native Japanese hardwood in cherry Red, with a bolt on three piece maple neck, and a rosewood fretboard.

Overall, you have a easy playing, versatile guitar, with great cleans as well as dirty tones, and the feel is as if a Strat and a Mustang had a baby.
